Are you enjoying your career today or worrying about tomorrow? Do you like where you are or will you be happy when (and only when) you get to where you really want to be?

How you start you day, in most cases, is how you finish it. If you wake up in the morning believing for the best, the best will happen. If you start your day believing what you want will not happen, then it probably won't.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

This week's challenge is to start each day in a positive way. Ask yourself this: "Will I have a good day or a bad one?" Decide and go with your decision.

Yes, there may be things about your career that you believe you have no power to change. And, just because you believe this does not make it true. This week, exercise your personal power and make each day a great one.

So what do you say? You only have one life to live so it might as well be a life you love.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

P.S. An article I wrote was accepted and printed on March 8, 2004 in CareerJournal.com, the Executive Career Site Of The Wall Street Journal. The article discusses my leap from the corporate world to the world of coaching, and how you can apply the lessons I have learned to your own career. The article can be found at: http://www.careerjournal.com/columnists/perspective/20040308-fmp.html?home_whatsnew_major

I hope you enjoy it! Brian Volkman (Editor)
