As a career coach, I frequently speak to people who are either looking for work, or are unhappy in their careers. Two different situations, yet they both have one thing in common-they are playing it safe.

People who are unhappy in their careers often find reasons not to shake things up. People who are struggling with a job search often are stuck shaking their heads.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Your challenge this week it to shake things up.

If you are unhappy in your career, tell yourself that there is no box. Be proactive. Go after what you want. If you surprise yourself, imagine how you will surprise others. This is how you will get noticed. If you are out of work, be proactive in your search. Put down the resume and talk to everyone you know. This is how you will get noticed. Getting noticed will bring results. And, you will be in a better place mentally and physically because you did something you normally would not do.

So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!

HOW DID YOU DO?

If you followed this week's action tip, or it made a difference in your life, I would like to know. Please send your story in an email to info@surpassyourdreams.com

Each week, one lucky individual will win a free copy of my e-book "Living a Life You Love! The Pathway to Personal Freedom" for their contribution.

Last Week's Winner was Beverly Bridges who wrote in to say that she took the challenge and now feels happier, calmer, and at peace. Good for you Beverly!

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
