MORNING ACTION TIP #78 |
E-WEEKLY TIP #77 |
Are you angry at your staggering workload, your unforgiving boss, or your
lack of interesting opportunities? Have you been unable to let your anger
go?
Who doesn’t have something to be angry about these days? Many of you have
been laid off or have said “good bye” to friends and colleagues who were.
Many of you know someone (or yourself) who was treated poorly in the
process. So poorly, that it still boggles your mind. You have every right to
your anger.
Anger can be a good thing. It gives you the ability to express your feelings
and disbelief over a situation that has affected you or others. Anger allows
you to process these feelings slowly so you have time to heal. But when you
are reliving a situation in your mind over and over again, it may be time to
let it go.
Your challenge this week is to let go of anger. If you must, express your
anger one last time, and then channel your anger into something positive
instead. You will feel better and be able to move on.
Anger keeps you connected to what you are angry about. You may have kept
anger around because you were not ready to let it go. Recognize that anger
is holding you back. You have so much to look forward to. Once you release
your anger, you can make room for new opportunities to come to you.
So what do you say? You only have one life to live so it might as well
be a life you love.
