MORNING ACTION TIP #77 |
E-WEEKLY TIP #76 |
Do you become
overwhelmed easily when you have a lot of things to do? Would you like
to find an easier way to handle the situation?
Getting overwhelmed is very common. We have so much to do on a daily
basis that when we think about it, we get overwhelmed. We worry. "How
can we get it all done?" OR, "Where do I begin?" Our worrying holds us
back and stops our creativity. Simply put, it gets in the way.
Planning combined with trust that your goals will work out, will keep you from getting overwhelmed.
Your challenge
this week is to work on a lingering project without becoming
overwhelmed. Spend a 1/2 an hour each day working on one piece until
you complete that piece. Then begin on the next piece (If you find that
you can do more, that's great, but the challenge is to do a 1/2 an hour
per day only). 1/2 hour each day gives you 2 1/2 hours of accomplished
time at the end of the work week.
You can spend your time worrying how you will get things done or, use
this time productively. You have the power to tackle whatever projects
come your way with ease and grace. You always have. You may just have
to take a deep breath and recapture this power from time to toime.
So what do you say? You only have one life to live so it might as well
be a life you love.
