Has uncertainty in your career caused you anxiety? Have you lost sleep replaying certain scenarios in your head numerous times? Are you mad about what has happened to you or co-workers? Have you been unable to let it go?

Things happen in our career and we tell ourselves, and the world, that it's no big deal. But inside we know differently. We're mad and at times unsure what to do with our anger. We try to let it go, but when we do, we only get angrier.

Anger is a normal reaction to what is happening in the world. Downsizing, war, etc. Who wouldn’t be irritated? But there comes a point when you need to express your anger, and then move on. The advantage to being angry is you  can find people to blame and placing blame feels good. The downside is you stay stuck in one place. Life passes you by and you are left wondering how to get back on track again.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Your challenge is to release your anger. This week, replay one situation in your head that is causing your anger, but this time do something different. Instead of wallowing in your anger, choose to channel it into something positive. Take an action you wouldn't normally take. Put yourself out there again. Try once more.

You don't have to forget, but you can forgive. Take care of you so you have the energy to take care of what is happening in your world.

So what do you say? You only have one life to live so it might as well be a life you love.
