Do you want to shake things up in your career? Are you thinking about learning a new skill, starting a home based business, working part time, changing industries, or implementing a new system in your present position?

Have you put off making a decision to act because you are afraid of making the wrong choice or that you may have wasted your time if things do not turn out the way you expected?

Your career gets easier when you make decisions. And even though you say that you want to make a decision, making a decision can be scary. What happens if you are walking away from something or letting go of a missed opportunity? The truth is you are walking towards something that is greater. Making decisions gives you focus, clarity, and purpose. Key ingredients to making your career goals a reality.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Take out a piece of paper and put the item you want to decide on the top of the page. Draw a line down the middle of the page. Put pro on the left hand side and con on the right hand side. Complete the exercise.

What did you uncover? Your challenge this week is to take this information and make a decision.

It's easy to look at someone else and say, "I wish I had that." It's another to say "I want that," and then make a decision to go after it.

So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!
