Maximize Your Time

Did you just set a new resolution for the year, but are already worried about finding the time to keep it? Are you working on an older goal, but are having trouble finding the time to implement it?

We make time for the goals that are really important to us. So, if you are honest with yourself, if you haven't completed a goal or didn't keep a resolution from last year, it's because you really didn't want to. Maybe your goal overwhelmed you. Or, you got scared. Maybe you stopped because you had a question, but you didn't know where to go for the answer.

Whatever the reason, now is your opportunity to start again.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Our lives are busy. The truth is we never get large blocks of time to work on our goals, but we do get 15 minutes here, 1/2 hour there.

Your challenge this week is to maximize this time.

Take your goal and break it down into smaller pieces. Then look at your day, and make room to fit it in. Do you want to learn something new? Get a book on tape and listen to it during your morning commute. Do you have phone calls to make? Contact people while you are shopping or on line at the store. Do you have a book you want to finish? Read a chapter at the doctor's office, while you are waiting for your car at the station, or on your lunch break. Get creative. The time will go by anyway, so why not use it to its fullest potential?

Goals are reached one small step at a time but only if you take them. Start small. Start now.

So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!

ARE YOU OUT OF WORK OR OVERWORKED?

If you answered YES, then working with a coach may be your next move.

Many people who have hired me can now say that they have the control and power back in their careers.

HERE IS WHAT ONE CLIENT HAD TO SAY:

"Your coaching and encouragement has made me see that I was playing small and diminishing my own accomplishments. My career has taken a dramatic change for the better and I know it's a result of your wisdom, determination, and my commitment to myself." (Mario Diaz, Director, Producer, and Writer, NYC)
