JAN-JUNE 2002 E-WEEKLY TIPS
2001 E-WEEKLY TIPS

I speak to many people who tell me they feel trapped in their careers. They are either trapped by the amount of work it takes to find a job, or the workload that has been given to them in their present position.

Many people feel stuck and unable to move forward. Yet, when I give them concrete steps to help them out of their situation, they often tell me "I've heard that before."

What's wrong with hearing something again? Consistent action done over time will get you to your career goal. Let me say that again. Consistent action done over time will get you to your career goal. You probably have heard this before. Maybe being reminded of what you've "Heard Before" is not such a bad thing.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Your challenge this week is to choose one of the following:

1. Re-read a chapter in a book that you've already finished.
2. Go over your notes from a career seminar you've already taken.
3. Speak to people about your career that you've already spoken to.
4. Re-read the Monday Morning Action Tips you've already read.

Most of what you need to know you already know. Being reminded let's you re-use the information in a different way, so you can get what you want in your career.

So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!

ARE YOU OUT OF WORK OR OVERWORKED?

If you answered YES, then working with a coach may be your next move.

Many people who have hired me can now say that they have the control and power back in their careers.
