Do you wish the circumstances in your career were different? Are you spending a lot of time either thinking about your career, or trying to do something about it? Maybe it's not how hard you are working, but rather your resistance to your present situation.

For every obstacle, there is a lesson waiting to be learned. The funny thing about life is that we usually do not get to the next level until we understand why we are where we are today. What are you resisting in your career? Maybe if you went with the tide instead of against it, you would find the solution you've been seeking.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Your challenge this week is to stop resisting the lesson.

On a sheet of paper, list a few specific examples of difficulty in your career. Then, for a moment, let go of your resistance. Identify the lesson(s) that you are supposed to learn by embracing your difficulties rather than resisting them.

Welcome the lesson(s) the universe is trying to teach you, and do your best to learn them! You will realize the lesson sooner or later. Why not make it sooner?

So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!
