Remember when you said to yourself that if you ever lost your job, got demoted, or took a salary cut, you wouldn't know what to do? Well here you are, the worst has happened for many of you. Maybe you are not happy with your present situation, but you are okay. Somehow, the bills are getting paid. You are learning that you can handle anything that comes your way. Good for you!

But, many of you have used the economy as an excuse to stop moving forward. You have decided that your career goals are too hard to obtain, you will not get what you want NOW, and it is best to take a break and wait for things to get better on their own. Truthfully, this is the worst thing you can do.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Your challenge this week is to start moving again. We are not asking for life-altering action; just one small step. Move yourself forward even if you do not feel like it. Waiting hurts you mentally and kills your momentum. Action will make your career goals a reality.

So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!

HOW DID YOU DO?

If you followed this week's action tip, or it made a difference in your life, I would like to know. Please send your story in an email to info@surpassyourdreams.com

Each week, one lucky contributor will win $20 in COACH CASH to spend on any product or service at Surpass Your Dreams.

This week winner is Kathy Robinson who wrote in to say:

"Thank you for the timely action tip #40 (Be Happy Today) on challenging us to come up with three things we love about our lives. I wrote them down on a note card, and propped them up on the back of my computer keyboard. Your tip helped me keep what is important in front of me, so I can never lose sight of it. Thank you so very much for sharing yourself with others! I can tell you LOVE what you are doing."

Good for you Kathy!

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
