2001 E-WEEKLY TIPS

With the job market the way it is today, it seems like a crazy idea to ask for a raise, bonus, promotions, etc. Or is it?

Now may be the best time, because you will probably be the only one asking. Think about it this way, you are working very hard. And, you deserve a reward for your hard work and effort.

The best way to get what you want is to ask for it. But first, you will have to stop telling yourself that you are asking for the impossible. And second, you will have to put a plan in place to make it happen.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Your challenge this week has 3 parts: 1) Decide what you will ask for, 2) Gather the facts necessary to prove your case, 3) Ask for what you want.

If you completed last week's tip, look back to your goal sheet and start to consider your unanswered questions. If you did not complete last's week tip, identify the unanswered questions that prevent you from reaching your career goal.

If the answer you receive is no, do not get discouraged. Regroup and try again. If the answer is yes, congratulate yourself for a job well done. Either way, you will be a more confident, inspired, and focused individual because you went through this process. Isn't that what you have been looking for anyway?

So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!

HOW DID YOU DO?

If you followed this week's action tip, or it made a difference in your life, I would like to know. Please send your story in an email to info@surpassyourdreams.com

Each week, one lucky individual will win a free copy of my e-book "Living a Life You Love! The Pathway to Personal Freedom" for their contribution.

This week winner is Andrea Robinson who wrote in to say:

"Thanks for your tip about getting organized. (Tip #29) I have now organized my home in the same way as my office. I bought folders, with dividers for each subject, including those things that we put in a drawer somewhere' and hope to find one day (like discount shopping vouchers, take away menus, etc). Thanks to your encouragement; I feel free of clutter and a lot more free in spirit, as everything is ordered and simplified."

Congratulations to you Andrea!

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
