MONDAY MORNING ACTION TIP #3
Do you have a hard time relaxing? Do you wish you could enjoy your down time (no matter how little) without worrying about what you need to do?
The people I coach tell me that they would like to relax, but claim that they cannot find room in their schedules to do so. They would relax (Really) if only they could find the time. But when I ask people what they do when they do have a few moments to spare, they tell me that they add more items to their to do list, then worry how it will all get done.
Not relaxing costs you more than you think. It costs you the ability to be close with your friends, families, and co-workers. It costs you the ability to listen to people. It costs you the ability to sympathize. It costs you fun and joy. How can it not when you are always thinking about the next thing you have to do?
THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE
What is one thing that you can do to relax today? And even though there may be no room in your schedule to do so, what is one way you can find to make the time anyway?
So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!
