Accept Where You Are
Acceptance is sometimes easier said than done.
It's not always easy to accept your current circumstances or stay positive in a negative environment, especially if you’ve been through a lot.
Maybe you were let go at a moment’s notice or are one of the people left after mass or multiple layoffs. Maybe you are working harder than you ever have, with less resources and support, and are tired and looking for a break. Whatever has happened, I know it can wear on you.
The Weekly Action Challenge
Your challenge this week is to accept where you are today.
Acceptance is important because it gives you the power to choose your situation versus letting your situation choose you. It gives you permission to feel better about where you are versus feeling bad about it all the time.
And, once you are feeling better, use that feeling to create something different and better for yourself in your career.
So what do you say, you only have one life to live so it might as well be a life you love!
