MONDAY MORNING ACTION TIP #241

TAKE ON A BIG PROJECT

Welcome to Surpass Your Dreams. The goal of the weekly tips is to help you recognize your potential and surpass your dreams. Included are tips for either transitioning into a career you love, excelling in the career you have now, or loving what you do for a living everyday.

If you are thinking about making these changes in your career, (and your life), Deborah Brown-Volkman offers 30-minute complimentary calls to those who want to experience coaching, to see if it is the right tool to help them move forward. Take On A Big Project

What would you tell one of your kids in this situation?

Sally (not her real name), has a big project she is working on at school. The problem is she is afraid that she won't do a good job. She doesn't want to be laughed at and wants to be seen in a good light.

You probably would tell Sally that she should believe in herself and that she is going to be fine. You would also tell her that she is going to "do great and be great."

How come you can't give the same advice to yourself?

The Weekly Action Challenge

Your challenge this week is to take on a big project, one you’ve had some ambiguity about. Listen to the words you told Sally and “do great and be great.”

Believe in yourself. Believe that you will be successful. Map out what you are going to do and then go do it.

So what do you say, you only have one life to live so it might as well be a life you love!

Need a new job?

Get quick, no-nonsense techniques that will arm you with what you need to say...

Many people (including myself) tell you what to do in your career. But what's missing most of the time are the actual words to use. In my 6th book, "Don't Blow It! The Right Words For The Right Job," you will find straightforward ideas and concepts that explain what are the right things to say to get a job you want. Click Here to find out more.
