What are you focusing on at your job, what you like or dislike?
Work is work. Sometimes you will enjoy what you do, and sometimes you will not. Sometimes you will like the people you work with, and sometimes you will not. Sometimes you will be happy with the projects you are working on, and sometimes you will not.
What you focus on either helps or harms your enthusiasm and motivation. When you focus on what’s not working rather than what is, your workday will be much harder for you.
THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE
Your challenge this week is to stop focusing on the bad and to start focusing on the good. Make a list of what you like about your job and focus on that. Look at your list everyday. In addition, refrain from complaining because complaining only hurts you.
Focus on the good. Not for anyone else. Not so you can “just” get through the day, but because you know it’s better for you.
So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!
