MONDAY MORNING ACTION TIP #16
|
Previous E-Weekly Tips: |
Reasons are great because when we share them with other people they agree with us. We were late because of traffic, we were over budget because the project expanded, we missed the deadline because we were waiting for approval.
Although dealing with problems is a necessary part of our careers, we are still unhappy at work. Why do we stay where we are? The economy is in a down turn, we would not make enough money doing something else, we are too young, too old, under qualified, or over qualified. Reasons are everywhere. Left unchallenged, they could rule your life.
Yes, reasons SEEM real, and they can be justified and backed up with facts. But the only person you hurt is yourself when you give up on finding a solution.
THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE
This week's challenge is to identify (or make up) 7 reasons why you CAN be happy in your career. Each day, make one happen.
So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!
HOW DID YOU DO?
If you followed this week's action tip, or it made a difference in your life, I would like to know. Please send your story in an email to info@surpassyourdreams.com
Each week, one lucky individual will win a free copy of my e-book "Living a Life You Love! The Pathway to Personal Freedom" for their contribution.
This week winner is Maree who wrote in to say:
"I have been thinking about a change and wanted to talk with my partner, but was waiting for the "right" time. I had the discussion and now all seems to be falling into place. Thanks for the tip. It helped me realize that the time to ask for what I wanted was now."
Congratulations to you Maree!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
