MONDAY MORNING ACTION TIP #15
|
Previous E-Weekly Tips: |
Many people are afraid to ask for help because they prefer to be seen as strong and in control. They worry that if they open up, they will put themselves in a position of possibly being rejected.
Yes, it may SEEM easier to attain your goals alone, but it really is much harder when you try to achieve them by yourself.
THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE
This week's challenge is to choose one person and ask him or her for help in realizing a career goal.
The person you choose might say no, but they might say YES! Let them speak for themselves rather than deciding what they will say. Give up this fear, and request assistance. You will find that the journey will be simpler, easier, and much more fun if you are not operating alone.
So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!
HOW DID YOU DO?
If you followed this week's action tip, or it made a difference in your life, I would like to know. Please send your story in an email to info@surpassyourdreams.com
Each week, one lucky individual will win a free copy of my e-book "Living a Life You Love! The Pathway to Personal Freedom" for their contribution.
This week winner is Kathy who wrote in to say:
"I wonder if you had been in my head all weekend? This tip is very timely for me, as I have committed to start a new job tomorrow, and am questioning my decision. Feeling "trapped" is exactly what I have been feeling. Like I will be stuck with this decision for the rest of my life, even if I decide that it isn't the right thing for me. Thank you for this tip, as it makes me feel much more relaxed going into work tomorrow and it may have prevented me from backing out of my commitment."
Congratulations to you Kathy!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
