Is fear getting in the way? Is fear holding you back, or do you move forward in your career despite it?

If you are like most, fear is stopping you. Questions and concerns looming around in your head are keeping you in one place. Fear impedes progress. And without progress, you cannot achieve results. Yes, fear is real. Yes, fear is daunting. But is it enough to have you remain where you are?

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Write down your biggest career fear. (Yes, your biggest.)  Will you not get a job and be left homeless and alone? Will you not get a promotion and be left behind and made fun of? Will you not get the workload relief you badly need and as a result, become very sick and be unable to work again? (Writing down your fear down reduces its grip on you.)

Now, write down why your fear will win and come true. (Come up with as many reasons as you can.) Then, write down why you will win and defeat fear. Which list is longer?

Your challenge this week is to make the list of why you will win longer that the list of why you will not. This may be a big challenge for you. Many of us can list with ease our fears and foreseeable failures. It takes a shift in attitude and perspective to realize that you can be successful.

So what do you say? You only have one life to live so it might as well be a life you love.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
