Do you spend more time fixing your career problems or complaining about them? If you are predominantly complaining, have you found that JUST complaining has worked for you?

Complaining can be good. It helps us vent our frustrations and get them out. But at some point, complaining turns against us, keeping us stuck in our complaint.

If you are hoping that JUST complaining will be the pathway to solve your problems or make them go away, you may be hoping for the wrong thing. In addition, you are wasting precious time and energy that you could use to work towards a solution.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Write down your biggest complaints. Break them into smaller pieces, those you can fix immediately, and those that require more information or assistance to fix. Your challenge this week is to put your complaining aside so you can fix what you can, or seek assistance for what you cannot fix on your own.

Your problems will go away when you do something about them, not when you wish them away or complain about them on a regular basis. When you JUST complain you stay stuck. When you take action, things change.

So what do you say? You only have one life to live so it might as well be a life you love.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
