Do you communicate effectively? Many people believe that they do, but after thinking about for a while, they see that they frequently have to repeat themselves, or use different words because things are not getting done. Yes, they are frustrated, but they believe it is the other person's fault the message is not coming across. So, they keep communicating the same way over and over again, getting the same result.

Communication is about how we express ourselves, and how we relate to the world. Communication is the message we deliver through nonverbal as well as verbal means. Communication is the ultimate expression of who we are. How would you say you come across?

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Great communicators start with a clear purpose. In each one of your conversations this week, determine what is the purpose of the information you are about to convey. Do this before you speak. At the end of the week, look back to see if you achieved this. (You will know because you were more productive.) If not, what is one thing you can do to improve how you communicate?

So what do you say? You only have one life to live so it might as well be a life you love.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
