Are you stuck in your career and wishing for more? Could you be standing still because you keep talking yourself out of getting what you want?

Your words matter and they are powerful. If what you say, either out loud or to yourself, is positive, the day seems brighter. If what you say is negative, you will feel like you cannot make it through another day.

The more you speak about what is not working in your career, the more insurmountable it becomes. If you keep saying phrases like "It won't happen" or "I can't," your words, not your circumstances, will ensure that you fail.

THE WEEKLY ACTION CHALLENGE

Your challenge this week is to replace impossible, heavy words with possible, motivating words. This week if you catch yourself saying something like: "I can't ask my boss for a raise." Replace it with "I can ask for my boss for a raise and I will." Then, get ready to fulfill on these words.

I'm not saying a raise or what you want in your career will be handed to you just because you said you wanted it. You still have to do the work. But at least you have a place to start, and a direction to go in, which in many cases, is half the battle.

If you don't believe in what you want, then no one will. This week look for the positive and say it over and over again until you believe it first.

So what do you say? You only have one life to live so it might as well be a life you love.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
