On March 9th, women in 30 cities will join to create a nationwide movement of inspiration; “Amazing Woman – Amazing World Day 2002” day (www.amazingwomansday.com), where women will be encouraged to honor their strength, courage, and purpose. Leeza Gibbons serves as Honorary Celebration Chairwoman.
“Amazing Woman – Amazing World Day 2002”, events are being hosted in BORDERS bookstores around the nation, and are offered free of charge. The events will be held in Atlanta, Boston, Chapel Hill, NC; Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Honolulu, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Memphis, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, OR; St. Louis, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco/Bay Area, Seattle, Tucson, and Washington, DC.
The New York City event being held at Borders (576 2nd Avenue) features Deborah Brown-Volkman, as part of a coaching panel titled “Recognize and Reveal your Personal Power.” She will be joined by fellow coaches, Diane DiResta and Deborah Roth. Laura Berman Fortgang, Author of Living Your Best Life, is the featured speaker of the day.
