I. BE HAPPY IN YOUR CAREER

Career satisfaction is a topic I go back and forth on. A few years ago, our economy was bustling and my message was that everyone should have a career they love. After all, I had found a career I loved, so why couldn't you do the same? Then a recession hit. I told myself that I couldn't possibly tell my readers that they could have careers they loved because they were either out of work or worried that they would be the next one to go.

I held back because I did not want to appear impractical. I've realized that by holding back, I am also holding you back. It takes courage to go after a career you love even when all the good things about your career are working. But, when we are in a recession? I must be crazy for saying this! Or am I?

So, what can you do to find a career you love? If you are out of work, there has never been a better time to explore what you really want. See this time as a gift and use it to discover who you are and what would make you happy. If you are still collecting a paycheck, use this time to uncover what's next. Explore as many different areas as you can. Find out what would bring you fulfillment.

Our economy will not be in a down cycle forever. Things will improve. They always do. Why not use the time you have now to get ready for when the economy does pick up? Why wait until the marketplace recovers before you resume your journey?

You can tell yourself that your career dreams will not come true and back it up with a long list of reasons to prove it. Or, you can take action today so you are prepared when the time comes. A career you love will not be handed to you. But, you can have what you want anyway. Stop holding yourself back. Stop accepting your reasons and circumstances. Embrace and overcome the challenges in your career today.

So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!

BRING A CAREER YOU LOVE INTO YOUR LIFE!

Would You Like To Be Happy In Your Career?

I created a 21-Day Career Empowerment E-Program to help you design a career you love. At the end of the program, you will have the motivation and inspiration you need to either embrace your current career, or create a new one.

HERE'S WHAT ONE PERSON WHO TOOK THE COURSE SAID:

"Thank you for a great thought-provoking and learning program. It has led to an explosion within me. The ideas flow in daily, and I look forward to each day's empowerment question to keep me going. It's amazing what simple questions can do to increase the thought process."

(George H. Bussberg, Quality Engineer, Dallas, Texas)

The entire program is only $39. WHY WAIT ANOTHER DAY? Visit our 21-Day Career E-Programs Page TODAY!

II. TOP REASONS TO HAVE A CAREER YOU LOVE

1. Work-related functions occupy 50% - 75% of your waking hours (more for workaholics).

Why not have those hours be at least as great as the rest of your day?

2. When you are doing something you love that fits who you are as a whole person, your true self shines through. You literally glow!

3. It would be a shame to let your gifts and talents go to waste.

Everyone has natural gifts and talents. Take the time to learn yours and then find ways to share them with the world.

4. If you want to leave a legacy, why not create a career in which to do it?

It can be a great vehicle for leaving something behind in the world.

5. People can and often do earn good money doing what they love (contrary to popular belief).

You can too!

6. Having a fulfilling career means getting in touch with what is really important to you.

Career satisfaction is one step toward self-actualization, the highest level on Maslow's hierarchy.

7. When you are happy in one area of your life, it has the potential to cross over and affect the others.

Career is a good place to start.

8. People who love their careers are more apt to live fully in the present rather than waiting for the day they get to retire.

9. Doing work you enjoy is a form of self-expression.

Find out what will let you be you.

10. Because you can!

A career you love can happen if you let it.

YOU CAN HAVE A CAREER YOU LOVE!

Do you want a career you love? If you answered YES, then working with a coach may be your next move!

If you answered YES to any of the above, then working with a coach may be your next move. Many people who have worked with me can now say "I love what I do!"

HERE IS WHAT ONE CLIENT HAD TO SAY:

"If I had again the $1,000 I had spent previously on employment agencies, it would have been much better spent and been of higher value if I used the money for coaching with you. I hope your coaching practice takes you to great heights. You are a true success in my eyes."

(Gary Woltal, Regional Sales Manager, Dallas, TX)
