I. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR DREAMS?

Are You Living Your Dreams?

If the answer is no, then ask yourself "why not"? Life is short. Do you really want to say that you lived a life of unfulfilled dreams?

But "hold it!" you say. "I'm waiting for the perfect time" or "I'm waiting for the perfect situation". Or, maybe it's not that you are "waiting" per se, but rather that you are afraid.

So, what are you afraid of? Are you afraid of making a mistake? Afraid of making the wrong choice? Are you afraid that you may not be good enough, or that the people around you might laugh at your dreams, or won't support you? Are your fears enough to stop you?

And, what happens if you do end up living your dreams? Are you afraid that once you get there then you'll have to live them? Meaning that what you've been talking about for so long will now come to fruition, and still, you might actually be happy?

But, when you look back at your life, what do you want it to be about? Do you want to say, "I could have" or "I did"? The choice is yours.

So, what do you say? You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love!

HOW TO DECIDE YOUR NEXT CAREER MOVE

Choosing whether to stay in your present career or transition into a new career is difficult because you may be unsure what to do next, or where you would begin. Plus, fear about the future can keep you from seeing your situation clearly or asking for what you deserve.

I created a 21-Day Career Empowerment Program to solve this problem. At the end of the 21 days, you will have insight, clarity, and knowledge to lead yourself to a more satisfying career. No more wondering! You will finally have direction, focus, and piece of mind.

Here's what one person who took the course said: "After being out of work for months, I decided to transfer my skills to a new position. As a result, I was offered a new job. Because of your program, I did not take the first offer that was presented to me. I knew exactly how much I wanted to earn, and was able to calmly ask for what I was worth. Not only did I get what I wanted, but I also received full medical coverage and a guaranteed bonus! (This was not part of the original offer.) I still cannot believe it. I know I would not have been as courageous if I did not take your program first." (Bridgette, Executive Assistant to the CEO, NYC)

The entire program is only $24.95. Visit career21-day.html

II. SEVEN STEPS FOR FINDING YOUR DREAMS AGAIN

So, How do you move past your fears and live your dreams? Follow these easy steps:

1. Remember That You Are Worthy Of Your Dreams:

You deserve to live your dreams. Recognizing this is the hardest and most necessary step. Most of us think that only other people get to live their dreams. Only other people are lucky enough, not us. We do not deserve to because of all the bad stuff we have done in our lives. The only thing these thoughts do is keep you from moving forward and being happy.

2. Remember That Your Dreams Are Important:

Once you know how important living your dreams is to your health and mental well being, then you can bring your dreams back into your life. The only way to live your dreams is to make them a priority. Without this focus, they cannot become a reality.

3. Remember That You Forgot Them:

Start by taking out a piece of paper and writing down your dreams. Remember what they were, and how excited you used to be when you thought about them. It might be difficult at first, but once you get started, you dreams will come back to you.

4. Remember To Push Past Fear:

Every time you move past the normal emotion of fear you make yourself stronger for the next obstacle. So next time you feel fearful, gather up your courage and move past it, like a warrior in the battle field. Everyone feels fear, it's what you do when you are afraid that matters.

5. Remember That You Cannot Live Your Dreams Alone:

Part of living your dreams is having someone to share them with. Do you ask for help, or do you handle everything on your own? I bet there are people who want to contribute and help you along the way but you will not let them in. Ask for support and let them in. It's OK to ask for help.

6. Remember That Action Is What Propels You Forward:

Your life is moving forward whether you are working towards your dreams or not. So, wouldn't it be better to take one action each day that will get you closer? It could be as simple as making a phone call, sending an e-mail, or doing some research on the Internet. Dreams are attained in little steps. Why not take some of those steps to move yourself forward today?

7. Remember Not To Give Up:

Perseverance always wins out in the end. You cannot get to the finish line unless you play the game. Hanging tough through the difficult times is what gets you to the goal. So, do not give up!

DO YOU LOVE YOUR CAREER?

Is your career wearing you out? Are you tired of fear and excuses standing in your way? Would you move forward if you had a place to start?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then working with a coach may be your next move. Many people who have received coaching can now proudly exclaim "I love what I do!"

"The changes I've made for myself have been dramatic. During our time together, I left my nanny position of 9 years and created my own Professional Organizing Company. I was able to do this despite my fears. Deborah and I worked together to pinpoint my skills, talents, and goals and we put them together in a plan that I was comfortable implementing. She understood my hesitation in making the transition, and my fears of both success and failure. My business has a wholeness to it because of Deborah's insight, support and talents." (Kathleen Lott, Director, On Your Behalf, Inc. New York, NY)

IV. COACHES CORNER

Since many of my newsletter subscribers are coaches, this section is for you. It contains tips and techniques to take your coaching practice to the next level.

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT LIVING YOUR DREAMS IS POSSIBLE?

I know as a coach, it is sometimes easier to give advice to others than to give advice to ourselves. When we speak with people, it is clear to us what they need to do to progress. Not only can we see it, but we can also articulate it ways that can have them move forward quickly.

But what about your life? Do you believe that it is possible for you to soar? Doubts about yourself come across to both present and future clients. They know when they are being told that they can live their dreams by someone who wishes they were, versus someone who already is. They know when they are being sold a bill of goods. So, they will either not hire you, or slowly go away.

So what can you do? Reach for the stars! Tackle whatever is in your way, so you can help your clients do the same. Yes, this is scary, and at times you may not know where to begin. But the rewards are unrecognizable lives for both you and your clients.
