I. DO YOU HAVE TO BE PERFECT BEFORE YOU CAN LIVE YOUR DREAMS?
The answer is NO. You are fine the way you are. There is not going to be that mystical moment "one day" in the future when you will be able to finally start living your dreams because you will be "perfect".
True, you will grow and become stronger each day, but waiting for perfection first is what will keep you from moving forward. It's an excuse we give to ourselves so we don't have to try. You might be saying, "Of course I want to try" or "If I only had it together first then I would definitely start living my dreams." As long as you wait for something to happen first before taking steps toward living your dreams, then you don't have to fail, look bad or not get it right.
And some of you might also being saying to yourselves, "I'm not afraid, I have real proof that there are things about me that will keep me from living my dreams." Things like "I'm too old", "I'm too heavy/thin", "I'm not pretty enough", or "I don't have enough experience". Excuses, and more excuses. Do not let these internal conversations hold you back. They are only true because you've told them to yourself so many times that they became true. It's scary how we really are our own worst enemy.
So, what do you do? You allow yourself to see what a great person you are and what you have to offer to the world. We all have a gift that was given especially to us, and this it's what makes us special. You have a lot to offer to the world, you just have to not be afraid to offer it.
So get out there and go for your dreams. You only have one life to live, so it might as well be awesome!
II. SUBMISSIONS SENT IN BY OUR READERS
The articles below were written by our readers. Each one of us has great things to say and offer to other human beings. And, I love to hear from you. Living your dreams means being yourself, and that means being self-expressed. Writing is a wonderful gift that fulfills us and enhances the lives of those who read what we have to say. As witnessed below, life is better when you write what is in your heart.
Would you like to share what you have written with our readers? If you do, please send your name, e-mail address and article to info@surpassyourdreams.com.
1. LIVING IN THE PRESENT
Imagine there is a bank that credits your account every morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course!
Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours.
There is no going back. There is no drawing against the tomorrow. You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today.

Last month's newsletter focused on getting the ball rolling today and not waiting until tomorrow.
A lot of people say they need to get the ball rolling, but few people are getting the ball rolling today. Living your dreams happens in stages, and you can't get there unless you start somewhere.
So what's keeping you from pushing the ball down the hill? Is it fear of looking at inward to see what's not working in your life? (Because once you know, then you will have to do something about it?)
Pushing that ball takes courage and a belief in yourself. It's ok if you are afraid in the beginning. It's natural to want to know how it's going to work out first. It's ok to want to have all the answers first. What's not ok, is doing nothing about it.
So push the ball today, and enjoy the ride. After all, this is your dreams we are talking about!
